Apple Self Storage has been in business since 1975
May 5, 2022: Apple Self Storage, which operates 42 facilities in Canada, opened a new location in Toronto. The facility was converted from the former Dorothea Knitting Mills textile plant, which was vacated in the year 2016. The historical building was also used during World War II to manufacture radial dials for Allied forces. Images documenting the history of the structure by photographer Peter MacCallum are on display at the facility.
Founded in 1975, family-owned Apple also operates properties in New Brunswick, Manitoba and Nova Scotia.
