The new Podcast will be available on the ISS podcasts page
April 28, 2021: Inside Self-Storage (ISS) has released a new podcast that explains mixed-use projects and how they are being used to positive effect in the self-storage industry. The eight-minute interview with Peter Stuhlreyer, chief architect of Designhaus LLC, explains how developers can use this approach to gain favor with municipalities, particularly in zoning districts where storage isn’t a permitted use. In this broadcast Peter Stuhlreyer discusses advantages and drawbacks of this development type as well as design considerations.
Peter Stuhlreyer is a well experienced architect, who designed more than a half a billion dollars’ worth of commercial, multi-family and self-storage construction, including facilities for many well-known national self-storage brands. Stuhlreyer will participate in the upcoming ISS World Expo in Las Vegas, July 13-16, where he’ll present a seminar titled “Self-Storage Meets Retail Suburbia: Finding Success with Mixed-Use Projects.”
ISS has provided informational resources for the self-storage industry for more than 30 years. Its educational offerings include ISS magazine, the annual ISS World Expo, an extensive website, the ISS Store, and Self-Storage Talk, the industry’s largest online community.
