April 11, 2025: SROA Capital LLC, which operates the Storage Rentals of America brand, acquired a five-property Go Stor It Self Storage portfolio in Rhode Island and Texas from Madison Capital Group and affiliates of Cerberus Capital Management. The purchase includes 2919 S. Highway 146 in Bacliff, Texas; 12610 Tanner Road and 4100 W. 34th St. in Houston; 3346 Pawtucket Ave. in East Providence, Rhode Island; and 1115 Main St. in Hope Valley, Rhode Island. Together, they comprise more than 340,000 square feet in 2,327 units. The seller was represented by Mellon, Roossien, Somoza and Wheeler. The buyer was represented by Griffin Guthneck, managing director of JLL’s Self Storage Debt Advisory team. SROA operates more than 680 facilities nationwide.
