Volta has developed, acquired or improved more than 3 million square feet of self-storage, multi-family and hospitality real estate

July 12, 2024: Volta Global converted the historic American Drew furniture building in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, to self-storage. The facility at 1101 D St., branded and managed by Extra Space, comprises 111,000 square feet of climate-controlled units. Enhancements were made to the structural integrity of the building to ensure it remains a landmark while preserving as much of the original layout as possible. Founded in 2015, Volta has developed, acquired or improved more than 3 million square feet of self-storage, multi-family and hospitality real estate.
