U-Haul International Inc. has been in business since 1945

May 17, 2024: Phoenix-based U-Haul International Inc. is developing a self-storage facility in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Plans for the 8 acres at 3500 Powder House Road call for two three-story buildings containing a total of 1,400 climate-controlled units. The project is expected to open early next year. Established in 1945, U-Haul owns and manages more than 83.3 million square feet of storage space in North America.
