The self-storage facility is expected to open by year end

April 25, 2024: Spartan Investment Group LLC, a self-storage development, property-management and real estate firm that operates the FreeUp Storage brand, is developing a new facility in Port Wentworth, Georgia. Plans for the property at 100 Mulberry Ave. include a multi-story building comprising 74,088 square feet in 738 climate-controlled units. 

Founded in 2014 and based in Golden, Colorado, Spartan syndicates investor capital to develop real estate. The company also has interests in luxury condos and RV parks.
