The facility is expected to be complete in 2025

May 14, 2023:Phoenix-based U-Haul International Inc. has purchased land in San Luis Obispo, California, on which it intends to build a multi-story self-storage facility. Plans for the 4.03 acres at 1109 Kendall Road include 700 storage units and a separate structure to house its portable-storage containers. The facility is expected to be complete in 2025. 

Established in 1945, U-Haul owns and manages more than 78 million square feet of storage space nationwide.
