Chicago-based development group, Milwaukee Storage Partners LLC, plans to convert Milwaukee Warehouse into a self-storage facility

July 9, 2015: Milwaukee Storage Partners LLC, acquired a 124,247-square-foot warehouse in Milwaukee for $3 million. 

According to a source, currently the property is being leased to Iron Mountain Inc., a records-management firm. Renovations will start once the lease expires i.e. in the year 2016. Reports:
It had been on the market for about a year, mainly marketed to apartment developers due to the residential boom in downtown Milwaukee, according to John Kuhn, a principal with Siegel-Gallagher Inc., the company that represented the seller

Van Dyke, senior vice president of Milwaukee-based DTZ Barry said that, Milwaukee Storage is seeking a national brand to manage the self-storage units, which will be heated and air-conditioned.
