: USSC, which manages over 85 self-storage
facilities in 13 states, has made its first Texas acquisition with the purchase of All Star Storage in Plano.
“We’ve had a lot of success with third party management in Texas and we’re excited to be acquiring our first of hopefully many properties in what we see as a competitive, major US market,” said Charles Byerly, president and chief executive officer. “Plano is a market we know well, and we’re confident that this facility will experience an increase in revenue and occupancy as a result of our advanced operations and marketing platforms.”
USSC has been operating eight facilities in Texas, including one in Plano, for the last four years.
The Plano self-storage facility has seven buildings situated on roughly 4.8 acres of land.
Plano Self-Storage facility was established in the year 2002 and the property features a manager’s office, brick fa?ade, standing-seam metal roofs and steel framing.
Security features include gated access, lighting, wrought-iron perimeter fencing and video cameras.
