The mini storage is providing the service up to three months 

March 30, 2015- In Thursday’s massive explosion, fire and collapse of two buildings in the East Village, 19 were injured and many residential apartments were destroyed. Manhattan Mini Storage is offering free storage to the affected residents for up to three months while they recover from the incident. reports:
“All New Yorkers feel for those impacted by this tragedy,” said Stacy Stuart, an Executive Vice President at Edison Properties, the parent company of Manhattan Mini Storage. “And it hits us close to home, because our 2nd Avenue location is just a few blocks away, so these people are our neighbors. We want to do anything we can to help them during this crisis.”
