U-Haul will be offering free self-storage and U-Box portable moving to San Diego County Wildfire Victims
The services will be provided to the victims till a month

May 15, 2014- People who have to evacuate their belongings from ongoing wildfire areas can avail free U-Haul self-storage, portable moving and self-storage pods. The company will be offering the service till next 30 days. The portable moving and self-storage pods can be picked up using custom designed trailer to move the belongings to safe warehouses. reports:

"These wildfires are causing tremendous amounts of damage throughout our county. Many San Diego residents have been forced to evacuate their homes and businesses," said Kevin Scofield, marketing company president, U-Haul Company of Oceanside. "I hope this effort will help provide assistance to families throughout the affected areas that need support. We will do our best to help our friends and neighbors in this time of need."

Residents can make use of "U-Haul Take a Box, Leave a Box" Program, in which people can return reusable boxes so that others can make use of them for free. The company is encouraging people to reuse the boxes and drop it off at the nearest U-Haul location.
