Burnam is the finalist for the 2014 Ernst & Young (EY) Entrepreneur of the Year award for the central-Midwest region
April 29, 2014- Ernst & Young (EY) Entrepreneur of the Year award recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Burnam was chosen as finalist by panel of independent judges.
Chris Burnam is the president of StorageMart and also owner and operator of self-storage facilities throughout USA and Canada. The winners will be announced on June 19th at the Sheraton Overland Park Hotel at the Convention Center in Overland Park, Kansas.
"It's a personal honor to be a finalist in such a prestigious award. I consider it an honor on behalf of my entire family, who have worked hand-in-hand with me in our family business," Burnam said. EY awards program has expanded to recognize business leaders in more than 145 cities in more than 60 countries. People who have won regional awards are eligible for consideration for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year national program.
StorageMart was founded in 1999. It is headquartered in Columbia, Mo. The company manages and owns over 149 self-storage properties in United States and Canada.
