The self-storage has collected hundreds of coats in New York and New Jersey during coat drive
February 20, 2013- Storage Post Self Storage has collected over 900 gently used coats for people affected by Storm Sandy. The company’s facilities in New York and New Jersey collected coats of all sizes for men, women and children in need.
The storage offices had special donation boxes in each office.
"We were eager to assist with the coat drives again this year after such a successful collection in 2011. Storm Sandy motivated us all the more because we knew so many people – customers, employees, family members – who had suffered damage and were not ready for the cold weather," said Jack Chaney , Storage Post chief operating officer.
The self-storage also provided complimentary truck and driver to deliver the donations to different warehouses. Storage Post had delivered nearly 2000 coats by the end of December. The self-storage company, based in Georgia focuses on positive customer support and is now obtaining several self-storage acquisitions.
