Self- storage dedicates a unit for donations to NL dog pound in New London

A Bank Street self-storage facility has set aside a unit to collect donations for animals which were affected during Hurricane Sandy

November 28, 2012- The storage unit is at New London Self Storage facility. It is located at 960 Bank St. Customers can donate at facility in New London which will be open from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Saturday.

"We're just wanting to help out," Helen Goldstein said. "Whatever we get, we'll gladly take and put in the unit for them. There's plenty of room."

Michael Martin and Tonya Kloiber are Animal Control Officers say that many dogs were displaced from 120 Chester St as a maple tree was brought down on the roof of the structure on October 29th.Many dogs were taken to Montville's dog pound.
