The proposed facility will have storage buildings spanning 70,800 square feet
November 26, 2012- Derry Planning Board has approved the project and has given conditional approval for the self-storage in August.
The facility has an existing 3,000-square-foot office building which will be used to manage the property. The board has requested owner Paul George to present a more detailed plan for phase one out of three-phase project.
"Each one of the proposed buildings will have eight wall packs on the face of the building, and then there will be four other lights on utility poles throughout the property," said Jim Hanley, project engineer. "The idea is to provide a minimal amount of light and not cast any light outside the property."
The new facility in Derry, N.H. will need new storage buildings. The site is at 230 Rockingham Road and is spread across 21 acres.
