Valet Self-Storage Startup Doorage Expands to Milwaukee
The facility will initially be able to serve about 2,500 customers in the Milwaukee area

March 28, 2019:  Doorage Storage Solutions, a Chicago based company specializing in valet self-storage, has added Milwaukee to its service area. Doorage is operating a warehouse facility on Milwaukee’s west side. The company is running with a staff of 10 people but expects to hire 40 to 50 staffs within a year or two.

www.insideselfstorage.com reports:
“We’re bringing a fresh, new approach to storage to this great metropolitan area that is underserved because they are not viewed as epic-sized metro areas that other companies focus as their targets,” Said by Sean Sandona founder and CEO.

The facility in Milwaukee area largely targets local college students as well as those in Kenosha and Waukesha, Wis.  The company also will market to commercial customers who may need space for supplies or document storage, Sandona said.

The facility in Milwaukee will initially be able to serve about 2,500 customers in the area. Doorage will increase the capacity as it adds additional warehouse space.

Doorage launched in Chicago last year uses an online platform which allows customers to schedule item pickup, maintain a visual catalog of stored belongings, and schedule delivery of items to their home. The rental rate is based on the amount of cubic footage used by the customers.
