It may replace the traditional clam shell-covered padlock
January 24, 2019: A Provider of lock and security components Lock America International (LAI), has developed a locking hasp system for self-storage swing doors and most flat sectional doors. The company is waiting to get patent for the newly developed system. The new locking hasp may replace the traditional clam shell-covered padlock.
The hasp is available with LAI’s registered, high-security key or its medium-security tubular key, in cylinder-lock or disk-lock versions.
Lock America International (LAI) headquartered in Corona, California has developed and marketed locks and security products for the amusement, fuel-distribution, gaming, information-management and self-storage industries for more than 30 years.
“There are many flat, swinging-door self-storage units around the country, and this hasp enables operators to upgrade their security without replacing their doors,” said by Ronny Ramsay, a security consultant who helped LAI to develop the product.
