The expansion will add 135,000 net rentable square feet to the company’s portfolio
November 27, 2018: Columbia based Self storage management giant StorageMart is expanding two locations in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. StorageMart operates more than 200 self-storage properties across Canada, UK and US. Once the project complete, it will add 135,000 net rentable square feet in nearly 1,400 climate-controlled units to the company’s portfolio. The company also operates a third facility in the city at 465 S.E. Oldham Parkway.
StorageMart is planning to expand 75,000 square feet for the property at 24610 E. U.S. Highway 50 and 60,000 square feet for the site at 3920 S. State Route 291. Both sites include indoor loading bays, motion-censored lighting, perimeter fencing, keypad access, and video cameras.
The company operates properties in more than 30 locations in the Metro Kanas City. Since 2016, The company has added 66,000 square feet of storage to the area in the city. In addition, three new developments will complete by 2020 in the Greater Kansas City. As per the press release.
The StorageMart is a privately owned and operated self storage management firm founded in 1999. It is owned and operated by Burnam Family, which has been in the storage industry for three generations. Its portfolio consists of more than 12 million square feet of storage.
