Mountain Shadows Storage announces the opening of new self-storage facility in Greeley, CO
A grand-opening celebration is slated for the month September

August 22, 2017: Four business partners have opened a new self-storage facility in Greeley, Colo. Mountain Shadows Storage is owned by Dale Boehner, Nick Francis, Rob Stanley and Terry Wiedeman, who are all first-time storage owners.

The partners, who’ve been involved in several business ventures together and separately, were intrigued by the idea of owning a storage facility. "We've owned apartments, [but] there's upkeep,” Francis said. “With storage, we don't have plumbing, no electrical, so it's a different venture. You don't have the constant upkeep every time someone moves out. You can take a broom and sweep."

The 5-acre facility is still partially under development after weather hampered the construction of a retaining wall and concrete paving. The property contains more than 480 climate-controlled and drive-up units as well as vehicle-parking spaces.

Property features such as RV-dump station, controlled access, motion-sensor lighting, video cameras, and a retail store that sells moving and packing supplies. Customers have access to online reservations and billpay. A kiosk will be installed next year, the source reported.
