Storage Authority operates two self-storage facilities in Coventry and Mansfield, Conn
June 5, 2017: Storage Authority LLC, which operates self-storage facilities primarily in Connecticut and offers franchise opportunities, has added two franchise locations to its roster and is planning a third corporate asset.
According to a press release, the projects are in various stages of development in Florida, Pennsylvania and Texas.
Storage Authority co-founder Scott House has started the design phase on what will be a 75,000-square-foot facility in Lakeland, Fla. The asset will be built on an 8-arce parcel and offer RV storage in addition to traditional self-storage. Construction is expected to begin this fall.
The company recently added a new franchisee who plans to construct a facility in Central Pennsylvania. In addition, an existing franchisee has acquired 4 acres in Houston on which he plans to build a 60,000-square-foot facility.
Co-founded by Marc Goodin and House, Storage Authority launched its franchise model in 2015, offering existing self-storage owners and those looking to enter the industry the chance to build a business under the brand’s operational framework.
